Since its founding in 1984, KNUE has played a key role in achieving educational innovations in Korea.   <o:p></o:p>Thanks to the dedication of numerous alumni, who attended KNUE undergraduate, graduate schools or the education training institutes, it has become impossible to speak about Korean education without mentioning KNUE. Despite these achievements, social changes, like the Fourth Industrial Revolution and demographic changes, like low birth rates or population ageing, demand new thinking and new actions. In response, KNUE will take the lead in accomplishing both, the advancement of the university and nationwide education, based on the capabilities accumulated so far.   <o:p></o:p>To achieve our mission, we will expand the scope of our university and diversify its functions, to become the center of future Korean education in charge of all education programs from cradle to grave. We will devote ourselves to the development of national education by strengthening educational research and expanding educational trainings.
