 한국교통대학교는 118여년의 유구한 역사를 가진 국내 유일의 교통특성화대학으로서 진리탐구, 미래창조 및 인류봉사의 교육이념 아래 미래사회의 주역이 될 인재 육성을 통해 국가와 지역사회에 기여해 왔습니다.   <o:p></o:p>글로벌시대, 변화와 혁신을 선도하고 실천하는 미래형 인재양성을 위해 우수한 교수진과 잘 갖춰진 교육·연구·학생지원 인프라를 바탕으로 특화된 명품 국립대학으로 발돋움 하고자 합니다.   <o:p></o:p>한국교통대학교는 미래지향적 교육가치를 창출하고 지역과 국가를 선도하는 연구력 확보와 지식나눔 혁신캠퍼스 구현을 통한 글로컬 인재양성으로 지역과 대학이 함께 성장하는 혁신성장 플랫폼이 될 것입니다.   <o:p></o:p>학생이 더 큰 꿈을 키우고, 구성원이 행복하며 함께 하여 더 나은 미래를 만들어갈 수 있도록 한국교통대학교를 응원하여 주시기를 부탁드립니다.   <o:p></o:p>감사합니다.   <o:p></o:p>   <o:p></o:p>The university where three centers shine together With 111 years of history, KNUT is Korea’s one and only university specialized in transportation, and is also a university coping actively with rapidly changing society and fostering global leader•creative specialist•whole personal.   <o:p></o:p>An open university enhancing the value of education Started from Chungju University and established 2012 through integration with Korea National University of Railway and Cheongju Science College, KNUT made ‘Pursuit of Truth, Designing the Future, Service to Humanity’ as its philosophy and is striving to foster creative leaders in each field through more than 400 professors, high level educational system and various majors.Composed of transportation•aerospace•engineering•humanities and social sciences-centered Chungju Campus (Headquarter),health•life•internalization-centered Jungpyeong Campus and railroad-centered Uiwang Campus, KNUT is concentrating fostering of future talents with international mindset through fieldbased practical education.   <o:p></o:p>Fostering field-based future talents Established ‘Connect the World’ as university vision, KNUT was selected solely in Chungcheongbukdo region for ‘IPP type Workplace and Learning Dual System’ which is executed from April 2015 through February 2020, and is constructing a self-directed talent cultivation system with professionalism specialized in transportation field, practical ability and disaster prevention capability which is applicable immediately to the site by investing 1 billion won of project cost annually.KNUT also provides students with various industrial setting experience through a mid•long-term project ‘Industrial internship support project connected to employment to medium-size businesses’ and ‘Project to foster university leading business start-up’ and is also operating employment•business start-up support program by constructing a system that major is naturally connected with field practice. Such projects will provide students with opportunities to enhance employment capability through improvement of practical ability and problem-solving ability, and will become an opportunity for companies to discover and utilize excellent talents at an early stage. In addition, KNUT constructed infrastructure for 3D printing technology which is rising as a core industrial technology for the next generation through ‘3D printing technology-based creative innovation leading center construction project’ which is called tertiary revolution of manufacturing industry. While creating citizen participation space such as 3D printing exhibit, experience hall and idea factory in the approximately 320pyeong exclusive space, KNUT is also providing technical support for companies, and support for cultivation of basic•professional manpower, business start-up, business revitalization program etc.<div id="hwpEditorBoardContent" class="hwp_editor_board_content" data-hjsonver="1.0" data-jsonlen="15708" style="line-height: 1.8;"></div>Through consumer-centered curriculum that the state and society demand, Korea National University of Transportation will raise professionalism and efficiency through cultivation of creative talents with creative intelligence, and will take a leap as a birthplace of global transportation leaders who contribute to the development of state and happiness of society.
