춘해보건대학교는 춘해병원을 통해 의료발전을 이끌고 봉사의 삶을 사신 도생 김영소 박사님께서 본립도생 사해개춘(本立道生 四海開春, 근본이 서면 길이 생기고 온누리에 봄기운이 열린다)의 건학이념으로 설립하신 대학입니다.

1968년 부산광역시 신창동 춘해병원 내의 캠퍼스에서 춘해간호학교로 처음 문을 열어 36명의 1회 졸업생을 배출한 이래 지금은 간호학과 외 11개학과의 800명에 이르는 졸업생을 배출하는 명문 보건의료특성화대학으로 성장하였습니다. 

2만 2천여명에 이르는 졸업생들이 국내외에서 훌륭하게 역할을 수행하며 국가 사회발전에 기여해 왔으며, ‘교육품질 인증대학’, ‘특성화 전문대학 육성 사업’, ‘혁신지원사업(Ⅰ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ유형)’, ‘산학협력선도 전문대학’,‘고등직업교육거점지구(HiVE) 사업으로 선정되었고, 교육부발표 울산·부산·김해·양산지역 전문대학중 취업률 9년 연속 1위라는 눈부신 성과를 내고 있습니다.

 

우리 대학은 현재의 성과에 안주하지 않고, 대학 중장기 발전계획 「CHOONHAE VISION 2030」의 3대 핵심전략과 34개 실행과제를 실행에 옮겨 「세계적 수준의 보건의료교육 전문인재를 양성하는 직업교육 선도대학」 이라는 대학비전을 실현하고자 합니다.

Choonhae College of Health Sciences is leading the way in healthcare innovation through Choonhae Hospital, embracing the spirit embodied by founder Dr. Young So Kim (Dohseng): opening up the way with true character, serving the community, enhancing human well-being, and spreading the truth.

What began in 1968 in Busan Sinchang-dong on Choonhae Hospital’s campus as Choonhae Nursing School with 36 students has now grown to a highly competitive healthcare vocational college with not only a nursing school but eleven other academic departments and a graduating class of 900 students. 

Over 20,000 Choonhae alumni are working as healthcare professionals and contributing to societal advancements around the world. The Ministry of Education has recognized Choonhae as a Higher Vocational College, a Specialized College of Korea, and a Self-Improving Institution with Specialized Vocational Programs for Innovation (Types I, II and III). Choonhae was chosen as a leader in the Industry-University Cooperation, LINC+ and recognized for having the highest graduate job placement rate for schools in the Busan-Ulsan-Yangsan-Gimhae area for six consecutive years.

Our institution is resting on our accolades. Rather, we embrace ‘Choonhae Vision 2030’ with three core principles and 34 goals to put into practice. We strive to realize our school’s vision to be a leading vocational college that trains world-class professionals in public health, medical, and educational fields.
