Since its founding in 1969, Changwon National University has been working tirelessly to open the horizon of 100 years beyond the 50th anniversary.

Over the past half century, we have cultivated people of talent who contribute to the development of the local community and have grown into a university which is the true pride of local citizens as the only national higher education institution in Changwon with a population of 1.1 million.

Taking the lead in upgrading the Changwon National Industrial Complex, the mecca of the Korean machinery industry, Changwon National University, which is the region`s leading educational, research and industry-academic cooperation organization responsible for one axis in national development by driving the local economy, now tries to go from the center of Gyeongnam to the world beyond Asia.

Under the vision of “university with the region and the world through creative research and education,” all Changwon National University members are doing their best in unison to become a university with strong education and research by training glocal talents and creating an environment to enhance research competitiveness.
