1970년 개교한 울산대학교는 아산 정주영 회장님의 ‘개척과 도전정신’을 토대로 참된 산업인재를 배출하여 대한민국의 경제 발전에 일익을 담당해왔습니다.

9개 단과대학 6개 대학원 1만 6000여 명의 재학생을 품고 있는 울산대학교는 11만 명에 이르는 동문을 배출하여 국내외 각 분야에서 열심히 활약하고 있습니다. 울산대학교는 산업도시 울산지역의 글로벌 기업과 함께 국내 최고 수준의 산학협력교육을 특성화하는 등 우리나라 산업역군과 글로벌 교양시민을 배출함으로써 세계의 대학 평가기관인 영국QS, THE의 세계대학평가에서 지방 사립종합대학 중 1위를 차지하였습니다.
