경북도립대학교는 저렴한 등록금과 풍부한 장학금혜택으로 다양한 계층에 교육기회를 제공하고, 창의 융합 전문인재를 양성하여 국가 및 지역발전에 이바지하고자 경상북도에서 설립한 대구 경북지역 유일의 공립대학입니다.

우리대학은 실무형 인재양성과 교육복지를 기반으로 많은 공직자를 배출하고 우수한 취업률을 유지하여 왔습니다.

I am Kim Sang-dong, the President of Gyeongbuk Provincial College.

Gyeongbuk Provincial College is the only public college in Daegu, Gyeongbuk established by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. Our goal is to contribute to national and regional development by providing educational opportunities to various students with low tuition fees and abundant scholarship benefits and training talents of creative convergence.

Our college has been producing many public officials and maintaining excellent employment rates based on practical talent training and educational welfare.

However, due to recent changes in circumstances such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the decline of the school-age population, and the advent of the post-corona era, it is time to take a higher leap instead of feeling satisfied with the achievements and pride achieved until now.

In this context, our College plans to make a new promise and start a new challenge for the future.

The College that realizes an impressive educational welfare

Our College will greatly expand scholarship support so that students can strive to concentrate on their studies without worrying about tuition expense and open a variety of employment paths with a contact matrix education which suits the students’ needs. In addition, we will lay the ladder of learning by establishing a transfer admission system for national universities and RIS participating universities.

We will help students grow as healthy members of the society through culture, language, personality, and volunteer programs by creating an RC campus (boarding type college) where students are eager to settle down.

The College that provides endless educational opportunities

We plan to contribute to the regional development as a neighboring college by providing the regional residents with life-long education opportunities, thereby improving the quality of life and strengthening cooperation with the regional industry.

We will make a new leap to become a pathway institute for training the working talent realizing the higher education policy of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province by setting up such new vision and introducing specialized curricula.
