1997년에 개교한 동아방송예술대학교(DIMA)는 국내유일의 『방송예술』 특성화 대학으로 창의인재, 현장인재, 글로벌인재를 양성하고 있습니다. DIMA는 방송분야에서 실질적인 경험과 경륜을 쌓아온 전문가와 예술 분야에서 명성과 덕망이 높은 예술가들을 초빙하여 융합콘텐츠 제작 역량과 AI기반의 미디어 아트 역량을 키우는 창의교육을 실천하고 있습니다. DIMA는 영화와 콘텐츠를 제작하는 종합촬영소, HD/UHD/가상 스튜디오, 중계차, 「DIMA TV」 (IPTV와 CATV에서 방송되는 국내대학 유일의 정규 채널)를 운영, 재학생들이 방송현장과 일치하는 교육을 통해 졸업 후 바로 산업체에서 주도적으로 근무할 수 있도록 현장교육을 시행하고 있습니다. DIMA는 집중적인 연기예술 교육으로 K-pop, 보컬, 기악, 작곡 등의 엔터테인먼트 연기역량을 키우고 있으며, 세계에 K-wave를 보급하는 선도 교육기관으로서 해외 여러 대학들과 긴밀한 교류와 협력을 통해 글로벌 교육을 강화하고 있습니다. 자신의 비전과 꿈을 이룰 수 있는 대학! 사회에서 자신의 역량을 최대한 발휘할 수 있게 해주는 대학! 학부모들이 안심하고 자녀를 맡길 수 있는 대학! Started as an institution specializing in media in 1997, now DIMA is Korea’s best institution specializing in media and arts. It was possible thanks to our effort to keep up with the rapidly-changing broadcasting environment and the wave of change in the field of media and arts. In this era of media and art culture, DIMA is dedicated to nurturing our students to be ‘shining stars’ in the field. To this end, we have the best broadcasting equipment and facilities and prominent professors who have accumulated their know-how in the field of media and arts. Also, our curriculum adheres to the National Competency Standard outlined by the Ministry of Education, and focuses on an in-depth,
hands-on approach closely related to actual industry work. Students require an education which can teach them practical techniques because sometimes having theoretical knowledge itself is not enough to survive. With DIMA’s education goal in mind, we will continue to put effort forth nurture global professionals in media and arts and provide the highest quality education.
